A mother and her two children died in a fire that broke out in the house they were living in, located in Abaye neighborhood in Gacan-Libah district of Hargeisa, according to the Somaliland Fire Force.
A report from the fire department said that at 4:00 in the morning, the Hargeisa fire department went to the rescue of the family and rescued four other children.
“May God have mercy on you. A mother and two children died in a fire that broke out in their home in Abaye neighborhood of Gacal-Libah district,” said the fire department report.
In the news, it was said that the Gacanliba District Police have seized the bodies of the mother and the two children, and they are investigating the incident.
The army has warned the people living in Somaliland to be aware of the danger of fire at night, to turn off the lights, to bury the fire, and to put the fire in a suitable place.
