President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud arrived in Antalya, Turkey, to participate in the Diplomatic Forum in Antalya.
President Hassan Sheikh will hold important talks with Turkish leaders to strengthen relations between Somalia and Turkey.
During the forum, President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud is scheduled to discuss Somalia’s ongoing efforts towards stability, security, and economic recovery.
Somalia and Turkey recently signed a defense agreement, which indicates that Turkey will defend Somalia’s sea for a period of 10 years.
The agreement seems to prevent Ethiopia’s desire to take part of the Somali Sea which it recently signed an agreement with Somaliland.
However, the Diplomatic Forum in Antalya offers Somalia a unique opportunity to engage with world leaders and strengthen its commitment to international cooperation. By participating in discussions on the development of diplomacy, the promotion of peace, and the promotion of regional cooperation in Turkey.
