Reports from Hawadaley area in the Middle Shabelle region say that many people have died in the last few hours due to Water Diarrhea.
18 people, mostly children, have died from the watery diarrhea disease that broke out in the Hawadley area and the surrounding areas, and around 50 other people are suffering.
The reports add that the disease is spreading in the neighborhoods of Hawadley area, and the area does not have medical centers to treat people who have diarrhea.
Diarrhea disease broke out last month in the cities of Baledweyne and Bulaburte, which claimed the lives of around 30 people, including children and adults, after returning from the displacement caused by the floods in those cities.
In the areas where the Shabelle River passes through in Hiran and Middle Shabelle regions, after the flood season, diseases such as watery diarrhea and malaria, which are caused by the flood water, often break out.
