The President of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, and his delegation, which departed from Mogadishu, arrived in Nairobi, Kenya.
The President of Somalia and his delegation were welcomed at the Joma Kiyata airport by the Vice President of Kenya, Rigathi Gachagua, the Minister of Defense of Kenya, Adan Barre Duale and other officials of the Kenyan government.
The purpose of President Hassan Sheikh and his delegation to Nairobi in Kenya is to participate in the 6th Conference on Environmental Issues and Climate Change, which will be attended by various leaders from some of the world’s countries.
The President of Somalia is expected to hold separate meetings with some of the leaders participating in the conference during his stay in Nairobi.
Among the leaders participating in this meeting is the Prime Minister of Ethiopia, Abiy Ahmed, who recently violated the unity and territorial independence of Somalia, who arrived in Nairobi yesterday.
