The Banadir Regional Court has concluded the first session of the trial against the accused Sayid Ali Macalin Daoud who is accused of burning his wife Luul Abdicasis.

The first session of the Court was attended today by lawyers and other members of the public.

Some of the children of the late Luul Abdicasis were brought before the court, who told the court what they saw when their mother was burning.

Farhiyo Abdirisaaq, one of Luul’s 10-year-old children, emotionally spoke about her mother’s murder in front of the court, and said she saw her mother on fire.

“I saw my mother burning outside, I was shocked, I ran to the room and threw myself on the bed, then the man who burned us came to us while he was robbing me. Before my mother died, she told us that if I die, she will forgive me,” said Farhiyo from one of the children of the late Luul Abdicasis Mohamed.

The Banadir regional court scheduled another session after the first session, and the parties were given an opportunity to complete the remaining evidence and witnesses.

The hearing of this case, which started today, is of great interest to the Somali people who were outraged by the act of burning Luul Abdicasis, a mother of 6 children, and carrying her seven-year-old child in her stomach. while her family said that the deceased and the man who killed him will be buried at the same time.
