The forces of the Federal Government of Somalia, with the help of international friends, today carried out a planned operation in Buq Aqable area of Hiran region.
The operation was said to have taken place in a garage where the group used to organize bomb attacks in the country.
A statement issued by NISA said that the operation was successful and many vehicles and members of Al-Shabaab were leveled at the targeted garage in Buq Aqable.
The news from NISA did not detail the total number of casualties resulting from the operation that took place today in Buq Aqable area of Hiran region, but it is expected that the government will detail it in the next few hours.
This operation coincides with last night a similar operation carried out by the government forces and international friends in a garage and a house where members of Al-Shabaab lived in Galhareeri district of Galgaduud region.
