The government of Somalia has denied the Ethiopian airline to fly unplanned and without permission to enter the airspace of Somalia.
Sources say that Somalia has briefly suspended all flights of the Ethiopian airline entering Somalia today, Wednesday, to emphasize its position on the unplanned flight crossing its airspace.
Ethiopia and Somaliland signed an agreement on January 1 in which Ethiopia leased 20km of the sea for 50 years to give Somaliland international recognition, according to Somaliland officials.
The government of Somalia said that the agreement violated the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country.
On the other hand, the Somali government is going to issue a press release in the next few hours about the Ethiopian flight that was turned away from Somalia.
