The presidency of the Puntland administration issued a statement from a meeting held in the city of Garowe between the heads of the Puntland administration, former heads of the administration and officials who previously held positions in the Federal Government of Somalia.
In a press release from the Puntland Presidency, two points were made, the first of which was that the people of Puntland worked for the unity and solidarity of Puntland.
The second point of the press conference was also a call to the federal government of Somalia to stop the fateful actions while coming together.
“The conference calls on the Federal Government of Somalia to discuss the fate of federalization and the completion of the Federal Constitution of Somalia, and suspend the ongoing steps until it arrives,” said the statement issued by the Puntland Presidency.
However, in the meeting between the leaders of the Puntland administration, former leaders and other officials, including the former Prime Minister Omar Abdirashid and Ahmed Awad Isse, the serious tension between Somalia and Ethiopia related to Ethiopia’s ambitions was discussed. It covers part of the land and sea of Somalia.
