The Ethiopian forces in Qoolbulalle village on the Somaliland-Ethiopian border shot and killed a Somaliland police officer and a civilian.
The soldier who was killed was named Mohamed Hargeisa, while the civilian who was killed was a young boy named Ismail Hassan Budul.
As reported by the media, the soldier and the civilian were shot by the Ethiopian troops on the border, but the reason for the shooting is still unknown.
It is not the first time that the Ethiopian forces at the borders have killed civilians from Somaliland, there have been several occasions when civilians have been killed by Ethiopian forces.
Until now, the authorities on both sides have not officially released details about the killing, the reason for it and if anyone has been arrested so far.
