NISA security forces seized vehicles, equipment and people who were driving to Al-Shabaab.

The forces of the Somali National Security and Intelligence Agency (NISA) today seized three vehicles loaded with mostly electronic equipment hidden in explosive powder, according to a news release from the government.

Three vehicles and 8 people, including a foreigner from Uganda, were arrested by the NISA in Afgoye district in the Lower Shabelle region.

The captured vehicles and men were said to be heading to the areas controlled by the Al-Shabaab group in some parts of the Lower Shabelle region.

“The forces of the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) have seized three Homey vehicles in Afgoye district of the Lower Shabelle region, which are loaded with explosives powder, solar generators, computers and other materials. which is used by the army, and it was taken to the Khawarij” was said in a brief news release from the Federal Government.

The security forces and the national intelligence have indicated that they are currently engaged in further investigations related to the people and other materials in their hands.
