Garad Jama Garad Ali from SSC-Khatumo cultural council said that they will not select the members of the Dhulbahante community who used to participate in the Puntland administration parliament.
Garad Jama said that nothing has changed in the position of SSC-Khatumo regarding the fact that neither new MPs nor those who have left their positions have been sent to Garowe.
The scholar said that if this issue is allowed, it will eliminate the issue of SSC-Khatumo, saying that there is a need for SSC to stand outside the politics of Puntland, and whoever participates does not represent the fate of the people of SSC-Khatumo.
“Let’s confirm a group or a department that is already there and we will not extend the time, and we will not choose a new one. Let’s leave our brothers from Puntland out of the confusion, and give them advice,” said Garad Jama.
Garad Jama recommended that the elections in Puntland be postponed, and that the people who built Puntland gather together to make a unanimous decision on the issues related to the withdrawal of the two administrations of SSC-Khatumo and Puntland.
