A national funeral was held today in Mogadishu for the Minister of Women and Human Rights of the Federal Government of Somalia, Khadijo Mohamed Diriye, who died yesterday in Djibouti.
The body of the deceased was buried in the graves of the country’s military hospital, and the highest leaders of the country such as the President, the Prime Minister, the Speaker of the Parliament, former presidents, parliamentarians, government ministers, and many other people prayed at the funeral prayer.
The leaders of the nation and other people who participated in the funeral prayer and the national funeral for the deceased prayed to God to grant him mercy in heaven.
May God have mercy on the Minister of Women and Human Rights, Khadija Mohamed Diriye, died yesterday in Djibouti.
The deceased has been one of the officials of the Somali government for more than 20 years, and has held various positions in the various governments of the country in the past 20 years, and has been prominent in the Somali political arena.
