The Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Federal Government of Somalia and the Football Federation have jointly announced the official time of the football competition in the Banadir region and the regional governments of the country in the year 2023.
The football competition between the Banadir regional administration and the regional administrations has been announced to start on December 29, which is a Friday, which will be played in the capital city of Mogadishu.
The announcement of this competition was announced at a meeting attended by the Minister of Youth and Sports of Somalia, Mohamed Barre Mohamud, the chairman of the High Football Federation Ali Abdi Mohamed Ali Shiino and the governors of regional sports in Mogadishu.
It is said that teams from Banadir, Hirshabelle, South West, Galmudug and Jubbaland regions are taking part in the competition, and the Puntland administration, which has already announced that it is acting as an independent state, is missing from this competition.
SSC Khatumo was also excluded from the competition, which was recently recognized by the Somali government as a temporary administration, and it was already announced that it will participate in the regional competition, but it has not yet been stated why it was excluded from participating in the SSC Khaatumo competition.
