The leader of the public defense forces and the president of the Hiran State administration, Ali Osman, gave more details about the heavy operations that took place in the last few hours in a part of the Hiran region.
Leader Ali Jeyte said that yesterday’s operations were carried out in many areas along the Shabelle River which have been organizing against the Al-Shabaab group for the past few days.
“We have been in the forest for a few days preparing to chase the enemy. From yesterday until today, we have been in the most serious operation in which various parties have cooperated, especially the Mawisley army, which is working under difficult conditions. The enemy has not been able to defend us and still The army continues to chase, Al-Shabaab is weak, they don’t fight, but when the army doesn’t turn to them, they slaughter the poor people who can’t resist,” said Leader Ali Jeyte Osman.
He also said while speaking to a large number of people in a public square in Halgan district that there is a need for every member of the public to be brave against the Al-Shabaab group.
Ali Jeyte reiterated his warning for the third time that the people of the country should come to the places where Al-Shabaab are.
“Later you will tell the news, stay away from Al-Shabaab, we will burn you and your animals, when our hands reach you, don’t shout, now stay away from the places where Al-Shabaab are,” said Leader Jeyte.
In any case, the operations that took place yesterday in the areas under Halgan district in the Hiran region, the federal government said that more than 60 Al-Shabaab members were killed, and their military vehicles and positions were destroyed.
