The Somali forces and the local people in cooperation are conducting operations against the Al-Shabaab group for the second day in areas under the Halgan district of the Hiran region.
These operations are led by the envoy of the president of Somalia in charge of the public defense forces, Ali Jeyte Osman and other officers of the government forces.
A statement issued by the Federal Government said that the cooperating forces went to the areas of Shalay yesterday to bomb the bodies of members of the Al-Shabaab group.
“In the areas of yesterday’s attack and bombardment of the Khawarij, this morning, the dead bodies of the enemy were left lying on the streets, and the army is still chasing the remains of the enemy,” said the statement issued by the government.
