The security forces of the government have arrested a suspect who wanted to plant a mine in a commercial center located in the Bakara market in Mogadishu.
The spokesman of the Banadir regional administration, Salah Dheere, told the media that a search was made to arrest the accused and a motorbike that was taken to the mine.
The spokesperson of Banadir region, pointed out that the arrest of the accused was helped by the information obtained from the hidden cameras that the government ordered to be installed in the commercial areas.
Salah Dheere said the suspect was seen on camera trying to plant a mine in a shop owned by a citizen.
He said that he is looking for a network of the accused, who are working to do things to disturb the businessmen in Mogadishu, to deny them to participate in security operations.
The spokesperson of Banadir region called on the businessmen to work with the government and implement security cameras in their establishments.
