SSC Khatumo presented 7 prisoners it captured during yesterday’s war in Sool region between Somaliland forces.
The prisoners, some of whom were injured, reported to the media how they were treated after being caught in the fight.
“When I was arrested, I was brought to Garad Jama Garad Ismail and many other officers, they treated me well” Dable Farhan Yassin Osman, a member of the Birjeh Brigade of the Somaliland army, who was one of the 7 soldiers who were arrested , he said.
“I was arrested in the battle between Buqdharkayn and Yayle this morning, I didn’t even see a heated conversation,” said Ahmed Abdi Adan, a member of the Birjeh Brigade.
Garad Jama Garad Ali called on Somaliland to make peace or go to war, saying that they are ready for peace.
