The Capital Stabilization Forces of the Military Police last night carried out planned operations in the area of water wells on the outskirts of Mogadishu.
This operation was described as one of the stabilization forces to ensure the general security of the capital city, and to prevent the security threat that can be expected from the Al-Shabaab group.
The troops conducted house-to-house searches in the suburbs of the water wells area, and they also searched the vehicles using the highway that connects Afgooye district to Mogadishu.
In the past few days, there have been operations of this kind by the security forces in some districts of Mogadishu and its suburbs.
These operations coincide with the Somali government recently saying that the security of Mogadishu is the same as other capitals in the world.
