The command of the army said that the army of the country shot a suicide bomber who wanted to blow himself up at the entrance to Jalele Siad College in Mogadishu.
In a brief press release issued by the command, it was said that there was no loss to the army, except for the suicide bomber who was killed by the army before he blew himself up.
The command said that the army is on full alert to prevent the machinations of the Al-Shabaab group.
Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for this action, saying they killed 7 soldiers.
It was in July of this year when a suicide bomber blew himself up inside Jaalle Siyad’s compound, where the army was filing on October 14. The attack caused a lot of casualties.
The suicide bomber was found to have disguised himself as a military officer, thus gaining access to the compound.
The security agencies have arrested 14 members, including the commander of the Jale Siyad camp, because it was possible for someone with an explosive device to enter Jale Siyad camp.
