The Minister of Information of the Federal Government of Somalia, Daoud Aweys Jama, has declared that the whole country has entered a state of emergency, after the heavy rains and parallel floods that have affected the Somali people.

The minister noted that the floods and floods in some regions of the country have resulted in losses including death, injury, displacement and massive property damage.

He said the Minister of Information that the floods caused by the rains and floods displaced 500,000 people and killed 31 people.
