A press release from the Ministry of Information of the Federal Government of Somalia has announced that 30 members of the Al-Shabaab group were killed in a joint operation by the government forces and international friends in Galgaduud region.
The operations were said to have been carried out by the cooperating forces in the areas of Dab Hagar, Dab Qurun, Oodaale and Eel Sabah in the towns of Wabxo and Eelgaras in Galgaduud region.
These operations targeted places where the Al-Shabaab group was hiding, and destroyed them with explosions and other military equipment that the group was preparing for the attack sites, according to the press release issued by the Ministry of Information.
However, this operation announced by the government of Somalia comes at the same time, as today an aerial operation took place between El Garas and El Lahelay areas in the Galgaduud region.
