The Federal Government of Somalia has carried out operations in the areas of Hiin Tubal and El Ali Way in the South East of Galgaduud region, killing many members of the Al-Shabaab group.
A press release from the Ministry of Information of Somalia said that the forces killed 43 members of the Al-Shabaab organization and destroyed three vehicles belonging to the group.
“The Khawarij who were killed there were militias gathered there by the Khawarij who came from different areas where the Khawarij were attacked before,” said the press release issued by the Ministry of Information.
The press release from the government also said that in areas located in the west of the Galgudud region, the government forces conducted a wide-ranging operation today in which the Al-Shabaab group was eliminated from several areas under the Eelbur district of the Galgudud region.
On the other hand, it was reported in the newspaper that the government forces today prevented an attack by the Al-Shabaab group in Darunicma area in the Middle Shabelle region, and the group that launched the attack was defeated.
