The weekly meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Federal Government of Somalia chaired today by the Prime Minister of the Government Hamse Abdi Barre discussed the general security of the country and the implementation of agreements between Somalia and Ethiopia.
Prime Minister Hamse Abdi Barre has shared with his Council of Ministers a one-day trip yesterday to Aden Yabal district in the Middle Shabelle region where he said he was in touch with the motivation of the government forces in the war against Al-Shabaab.
In the meeting, the Council also passed agreements reached by the governments of Somalia and Ethiopia related to foreign affairs, health, education, information, tourism and the development of public administrations.
The weekly meeting of the Council of Ministers also heard reports related to the public security of the country from the Ministries of Defense and Internal Security, which presented to the Council the achievements of the latest operations.
The Cabinet of Ministers of the Federal Government of Somalia has also greatly praised the achievements of the armed forces in the fight against Al-Shabaab in the country.
This meeting is coming as the regions of Galgaduud, Mudug, Hiraan and Middle Shabelle are in the final stages of organizing the war against Al-Shabaab in the whole country.
