The Ministry of Finance of Somalia has today submitted the 2022 annual budget to the House of Representatives.
The Deputy Minister of Finance, Abdiqafar Ilmi Haange handed over the 2022 budget to the People’s Assembly of the Federal Parliament of Somalia which has passed all the legal procedures.
The General Audit Office of the Government conducted a financial audit of this audit which was issued in April, 2023, and the results of the audit were shared with the Parliament.
The Ministry of Finance said that it will continue to strengthen the systems of accountability and transparency of the General Administration of Finance and good governance.
