The Minister of Internal Affairs and Reconciliation of the Federal Government of Somalia, Ahmed Macalin Fiqi, said that there is a group that he described as mafia groups that are worse than Al-Shabaab.
Minister Fiqi also said that they will go to war with this group.
“There are non-Khawarij groups who have freedom in their countries and Somalis who like a soldier when he is killed to display his body like Al-Shabaab, and when an army car is captured they like to exaggerate the car” he said. said the Minister of Interior Ahmed Macalin Fiqi.
He threatened the interior minister of Somalia that the government will take strict action against those people, and they will engage in a similar war with Al-Shabaab.
“They are the ones who want the Khawarij to stay with us. They see the issue of Al-Shabaab being defeated by President Hassan Sheikh and finding an issue, they don’t see the problem of the Khawarij being dealt with, they look at the politics they have a different view from. They want our army to fail and the Khawarij win, it is not worth keeping quiet about those groups, where they are seen writing, they are also part of the war,” said Minister Fiqi.
The Minister of Internal Affairs also mentioned that this group that praises Al-Shabaab on social media believes that they are politically opposed to President Hassan Sheikh who is currently in Dhusamareb to accelerate the fight against Al-Shabaab.
