The security forces and the Somali National Intelligence last night in the area of Ceelas Biyaha on the outskirts of Mogadishu caught a car filled with explosives that was trying to enter Mogadishu.
Security forces also shot and killed the driver of the car loaded with explosives, after he tried to escape from NISA forces.
“The NISA forces killed a Khawarij terrorist who was driving a car loaded with explosives tonight in Ceelasha-Biya area on the outskirts of Mogadishu. and they wanted to harass the Somali people” was said in a brief statement published in the government media.
This action of the NISA forces who seized the car full of explosives and shot the driver who was driving the car coincides with the recent increase in the operations of the government forces in Mogadishu and the surrounding areas.
In conclusion, the suicide bombings that are used in vehicles loaded with explosives have decreased significantly in Mogadishu in recent times, after the security forces increased their investigations to prevent such explosions.
