The President of the Federal Government of Somalia Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and his delegation recently landed at the Jowhar airport in the center of the Middle Shabelle region, where they were welcomed by the President of Hirshabelle and some of the Jowhar community.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud is scheduled to have a meeting there with the president of Hirshabelle administration Ali Gudlawe Hussain.
The purpose of President Hassan Sheikh’s trip is said to be related to finding a solution to the conflict in the Hirshabelle administration and how to deal with the recurring tribal wars in the Middle Shabelle region.
The president’s trip to Jowhar is also part of the acceleration of the second phase of operations against Al-Shabaab in Hiran and Middle Shabelle regions. on the side of Al-Shabaab.
Reports also say that President Hassan Sheikh will go on other trips to areas that are part of the former warring areas of the Galmudug administration.
