The NISA National Security Forces arrested Al-Shabaab men and drug addicts.

More news is coming out of the planned operations that the government forces carried out last night in the Howlwadaag district of Mogadishu, in which members of Al-Shabaab and others were arrested.

A statement issued by the police command of the general division of Banadir region said that in the operation called Iiltire, the police arrested two men who were linked to the Al-Shabaab group.

“An operation that took place in Howlwadaag district arrested 2 suspects who are believed to be Khawarij,” said the statement issued by the Banadir police.

The statement of the Banadir police also said that the forces of the operation arrested a voter including Qamri, Calaq and a person accused of driving the voter.

“This evening, the security forces conducted the Iiltire operation in the drug store (Qamri and Calaq) in the Holwadaag district, especially in the 2nd department of Saqawadin. The Iiltire operation of the police force, NISA and Polizia Militare is aimed at ensuring security, eliminating the Khawarij, bandits and Narcotics. Also, the suspect who was driving the drug was arrested,” said the news from the Banadir Regional Police Command.

The police forces, NISA and Polizia Militare have been carrying out heavy operations in the districts of Mogadishu for the past months and have changed a lot in the security of the capital city of Mogadishu.
