On Tuesday night two Gunmen have shot and killed Abdinasir Mohamed Cilmi an officer working for the Puntland Development Research Center in Galkacyo, Puntland.
Abdinasir was on his way home, when he was attacked by two men armed with pistols. He left the Imam Shafici mosque in Garsoor neighbourhood after the evening prayers, according to eyewitnesses.
He is the second officer working for the PDRC who is assassinated by armed assailants in Galkacyo.
In October 2011, Abdulkadir Yusuf Haji Jama the head of PDRC office in Mudug region was also killed in Galkacyo; so far no one is arrested for the both killings.
