Puntland’s military court in Bosaso has sentenced four men accused of being members of Al-Shabaab to 10 years in prison each.
The commanders named Abdirisaq Mohamed Shire, Syed Farah Abdiqadir, Farhan Weirah Likhad and Abdiqani Ali Farah were accused of sending explosives to the Al-Shabaab group.
The military court also sentenced Rahmo Weydow Abdi and Shamso Ali Isaaq to five years in prison, who were accused of working with the convicted men.
The verdict of this personality coincided with the recent increase in explosions in Bosaso city by the al-Shabaab group, as the security forces were accused of failing to deal with the insecurity in Bosaso city.
Last Thursday, the security forces of Puntland also arrested foreign individuals who are linked to the Daesh group. He was arrested in an area under Ufayn district in Bari region.
