People living in Dharkeenley district of Mogadishu are talking about this tragic incident where the young man burned his wife.
According to preliminary reports, the man locked his pregnant wife in a room and then set her on fire.
Neighbors of the house where the man burned the girl and went to the girl’s screams and her children immediately helped the girl who was burned and it was said that he was seriously injured.
The woman who was burned by her husband was named Luul Abdicasis, who is currently being treated in one of the hospitals in Mogadishu.
The man who did this to his wife and his son fled the scene quickly, the Dharkeenley Police Station started operations to search for the man who caused trouble to his family.
“At around 10:25 a.m. in Dharkenley district, especially in the second ward, the victim, Luul Sheikh Abdi, who was a mother, a wife and a pregnant woman, was burned to death. According to our information, it was her husband who was accused of the act. Sayid Maallin Daoud, the man who married that lady,” said Somali Police Spokesman Sadiq Aden Ali Doodishe.
