The command of the armed forces of the country of Somalia has given more details about a planned operation in collaboration with the government forces and international friends that took place last night in Galhareeri district of Galgaduud region.
It was pointed out that the operation was observed and destroyed in places such as Al-Shabaab’s radio station, a house where leaders of the group were meeting and a garage where they used to make vehicles for carrying out the explosions.
The operation was said to have killed more than 25 members of Al-Shabaab, including leaders, journalists, militiamen and technicians.
“In the middle of the night, several rockets were destroyed in the centers where they were killing people, and the media equipment of the terrorist group was leveled to the ground, and a lot of journalists and leaders were killed. And Galhareiri last night became a place where terrorism was destroyed.” It was said in a news release from the Armed Forces Command.
The news from the country’s armed forces said that in the next few hours, the media will share the names of the leaders and militants who were killed last night in the bombardment of the group that took place in Galhareeri.
