A search and rescue operation is underway for two US Navy sailors who went missing off the coast of Somalia, the US military said on Friday.
The two sailors were said to be missing until Thursday night last week, while they were conducting operations off the coast of Somalia, according to a statement from the US Central Command (CENTCOM).
The US military declined to provide further details, including the identity of the sailors, to protect sensitive information about the men until the operation is completed.
