The Hormuud telecommunication company accused the security forces of illegally arresting three of the company’s management who were operating at the Hormuud center in Tarebiyano.
A press release issued by the Hormuud company said that the forces have committed disturbances and abuse of power, and the company said that it will respond to those actions in accordance with the law.
Hormuud Company said it was closed to its employees after the management of the center refused to publish the financial activity of the customers.
“The management of the company at the Tarebiyano station, based on the law, refused to the officials that they cannot share the information of the customers, according to article 8, paragraph 2 of the national security and intelligence law (Law No. 003) as well as article 65aa, Paragraph 2 of the National Telecommunications Law (Law No. 005), said Hormuud.
The Hormuud company said that this action has come at the right time, as the company has been targeted against its employees, vehicles and facilities, resulting in killings, injuries and property damage.
