Today President Hassan Sheikh received four ambassadors’ identity papers.

The President of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, today received diplomatic credentials from the new ambassadors of India, Japan, the Czech Republic and the Arab League.

The newly appointed ambassadors to Somalia are Mrs. Namgya Choden, Okaniwa Ken, Miroslav Kosek and Abdullahi Mutlaq Al Otabi.

The new ambassadors shared with President Hassan Sheikh messages from the Kings and leaders of their countries, who also expressed their efforts to strengthen the historic relationship they share with the government and the Somali people.

“The President of the Republic and the ambassadors discussed the strengthening of diplomatic relations and cooperation between the Federal Government of Somalia and their Government, and he noted the importance of strengthening the support of the government of Somalia and its people, in order to achieve success in building a government and developing the country.” said in a news release from the Somali Presidency.

The President of Somalia told the new Ambassador that they will receive good cooperation from the Somali people, and that the Federal Government will support them in carrying out their diplomatic duties.
