President Said Abdullahi Deni has officially won the Puntland presidential election for 2024-2019, after winning the last round of voting for the presidential election, which was contested by candidate Guled Salah Barre.
President Saeed Deni received 45 votes in the last round of the election, which is the highest number of votes for a presidential candidate.
Saeed Deni became the first president to return to the presidency of Puntland twice, and he won against many candidates who were against him to be re-elected for the second time.
In a brief speech by President Deni, he said that Puntland has opened a new page, and he called for forgiveness and forgetting everything that existed before.
The Puntland High Court has sworn in President Deni as the President of Puntland for the next five years.
