The Puntland Police Command has announced the names of two men accused of being behind the murder of two Puntland Police officers in Galkayo last night.
The police command has ordered the arrest of Hussein Musa Farah and Mohamed Hussein Musa who killed two officers named H/le Hussein Abdul Omar and H/le Sakarie Mohamed Diriye in Galkayo city especially in Halabokhad neighborhood.
“Anyone who knows where they are is urged to call the Puntland Police Force,” said a statement from the police.
The two suspects, a boy and his father, were said to have fled the area when they committed the murder.
It is not known why they killed the two officers, but in recent times there have been killings in Galkayo based on tribal members among some of the clans living in Galkayo.
Recently, it was decided that whoever kills someone should be caught and shot.
