The Ministry of Defense of the Federal Government of Somalia has given more details about the losses caused by the latest operations that took place in Galmudug, Hirshabeelle and Jubbaland administrations.
In a press release issued by the Ministry, it said that in the latest operations in some regions of the country, 130 members of the Al-Shabaab group, including leaders and militias, were killed.
It was also reported in the press that the Al-Shabaab group was cleared from a large area in Mudug and Galgaduud regions of Galmudug administration in the latest operations.
The news from the Ministry of Defense also said that the army opened weapons and military equipment in the operation, and destroyed various equipment and shelters of the group.
