“The ambassador has openly violated the Vienna Convention’s Article 41 – which states that “the person receiving immunity and privileges is obliged to respect the laws of the host state, and he is also obliged not to interfere in the affairs of that state”. referring to the Vienna agreement; Article 41, it is necessary to stop the diplomatic violation of the British Ambassador Mr. Michael Nithavrianakis in the SSC-Khatumo regions,” said the parliamentarians of the two houses from the SSC.

The MPs said that the ambassador ignored calls to ensure that the unity and solidarity of Somalia is respected and the principle of not interfering in Somalia’s internal affairs.

It was recently when the administration of SSC-Khatumo accused the British ambassador of openly saying that he is against the existence of SSC-Khatumo, saying that the ambassador believes that no other administration can be established on the border that was cut by the British.
