The Minister of Women and Human Rights of the Federal Government of Somalia, MP Khadijo Mohamed Diriye, died today in Djibouti.
May God have mercy on him, Minister Khadijo Mohamed Diriye was one of the delegation that accompanied the Prime Minister of Somalia to Djibouti, to participate in the conference on heritage sharing in Djibouti.
The deceased was an influential person in Somalia’s politics, since the collapse of the country, she played a major role in the construction of the Somali government, and she was one of the various parliaments in Somalia for more than 20 years.
Also, she became a minister in most of the successive governments that passed through the country, the last one being the current government led by Prime Minister Hamse Abdi Barre.
The Prime Minister of Somalia, Hamsa Abdi Barre, has condoled with the Somali people over the death of the late Minister Khadijo Mohamed Diriye, who was the Minister of Women and Human Rights of the Federal Government of Somalia.
