The envoy of the president of Somalia in charge of the public defense forces, known as the Mawisleyda Ali Jeyte Osman, today spoke to hundreds of new Mawisleyda troops who are participating in the war against Al-Shabaab at the airport in Halgan district of Hiran region.
The leader of the People’s Defense Forces and the President of Hiran State Jeyte Osman urged the new forces to unite in the fight against Al-Shabaab, which has started again in Hiran region.

Hiraan region was the first region where Al-Shabaab faced a public uprising last year, which later spread to all other regions of the country, and Al-Shabaab was removed from the entire east of Hiraan region.
