The governor of Mudug region on the Puntland side, Feysal Sheikh Ali (Jife hacker) said that they are looking for the people behind the killing of a famous doctor who was recently killed in Galkayo.
The governor said that the man who committed the murder has been identified, who he said fled the city when he committed the act, and said that they are after him and will arrest him wherever he goes.
The chairman said that the decision made by the Mudug Regional Council will punish anyone who kills someone. He said that the clan members have become a big problem in the security of Galkayo city.
On the other hand, the city of Galkayo is experiencing tension caused by the killing of Dr. Sakarye Abdi Jama, and this has led people to use small arms more, to be aware of targeting members of the clan.
Many people fled the city after the killings of the clansmen, who expressed fear of being targeted because of their clan.
The people living in Galkayo believe that if the person who killed someone was held accountable, they would stop the killing of children.
Galkayo, which used to stop the killings of Al-Shabaab, has now been replaced by killings related to women.
