More news is coming out of a serious fight that took place last night in Bardale district of Bay region, after members of the Al-Shabaab organization attacked in that district.
The fight between the two sides was said to be very intense and both sides used different types of weapons, which lasted for about two hours.
The Somali government media reported that the war caused a lot of damage to the Al-Shabaab group, and killed several militiamen and the leader of the group that attacked Bardale district in the Bay region.
The areas of the South West administration are among the areas where Al-Shabaab is still strong, which often carry out direct attacks and ambushes in areas and districts in the Bay, Bakool and Lower Shabelle regions of the South West administration.
