The vice president of Galmudug administration, Ali Dahir Eid insisted that the strike by the minister of internal affairs of Galmudug administration, Abdi Wayel, is legal.
President Qor Qor opposed the strike, describing it as illegal and against the constitution of Galmudug and the constitutional powers of the vice president.
The Galmudug vice president said that the strike of the interior minister is in effect. He ordered the agencies working with the ministry not to deal with the interior minister.
He also said that it is valid to dismiss the governor of Abudwaq area council, and he ordered that the election committee should hold a free election as soon as possible.
After three years, Qor Qor and Eid came out for the first time in their dispute, which was caused by the strike of the Minister of Interior.
Also, the vice president of Galmudug accused Qor Qor of promoting the war against al-Shabaab, while the president is on the battle lines in the Middle Shabelle region.
Eid said that in the last three years, Galmudug has been patient, he said that he has been regulating a lot, but now he can’t keep quiet, he called the doomsday that President Qor Qor is doing to President Hassan Sheikh’s efforts to eradicate Shabaab from Galmudug.
