The president of Somaliland, Muse Bihi Abdi, has officially accepted the decisions issued by the cultural committee that was mediating the Somaliland elections dispute.
The cultural committee that mediated the political dispute that has been going on for a long time, has officially announced tonight that President Bihi has accepted their decision.
“We are here to thank the President of the Republic of Somaliland, the points we mediated the dispute that attracted most of the attention, he accepted and accepted everything as they were,” a spokesman for the committee told the media.
Somaliland’s opposition parties also accepted the committee’s decision yesterday, as well as some of the political organizations that initially opposed the decision, it was said that the president convinced them to accept it.
On the other hand, the committee of the community from which the Gaanlibaah Rebellion originates, announced today that they have accepted the decision imposed on them to bring the Rebellion down from the mountain within 5 days, and pay compensation to the soldiers who were recently killed by the Rebellion.
