The spokesman of the Somali Police Force, Sadiq Aden Ali Doodishe, who held a press conference in Mogadishu today, gave more details about the damage caused by an attack that started with an explosion and was followed by a direct fight that took place last night in Kakhda district of Mogadishu.
Spokesman Dodishe said that the Al-Shabaab group started the attack with a car filled with explosives and attacked the station in Kakhda district.
He also said that the police spokesman said that two police officers were killed in the attack, while three other officers and two civilians were injured.
“The damage that occurred at the scene is the death of two soldiers who were part of the army, who interacted with the Khawarij and defended them and wounded three others. In the suburbs near the base, people went to their houses to fire, so two people were lightly injured. ah” said Spokesperson Doodishe.
The police spokesman also mentioned that a strong defeat was delivered to the Al-Shabaab group that attacked the station in Kakhda district, and they dragged away the dead and injured, saying that the purpose of the attack by Al-Shabaab in Kakhda district is to distract from the fighting against the group. from the regions of the country.
However, this attack comes at the same time, as yesterday Al-Shabaab group used an explosion in a car filled with explosives at Ifka Halane Intersection in Mogadishu, which caused casualties and injuries.
