Somalia’s armed forces court today sentenced a soldier of the country’s armed forces who was found to have killed a Kenyan engineer.
This soldier is said to have recently killed the engineer at a construction site near Aden Adde airport in Mogadishu.
The soldier sentenced to death by the court is called Hassan Abdirahman Indayare, and evidence was brought before the court that he was behind the killing of the Kenyan man named Fredrick Odhiambo Owino.
The murder of the Kenyan man took place on the 20th of last month of July, and after a long investigation, on the 14th of this month, the prosecution office of the military court brought the case before the court of first instance of the military, in order to find an answer to what happened on the last month, the 20th .
In conclusion, the president of the First Class Court of the armed forces, Colonel Hassan Ali Nur Shute, sentenced the murderer to five years in military prison and the payment of compensation to the relatives of the Kenyan engineer he killed.
