The Somali Customs Authority has issued an order to Somali traders and other individuals who import goods and other goods into the country.
A statement issued by the Somali Customs Authority said that those who do not have a Certificate of Conformity of the Somali Customs Authority cannot land any goods at the Port and Aden Adde Airport in Mogadishu.
“The organization informs all companies, traders, international organizations and the general Somali community that import various goods from the port of Mogadishu and Aden Ade airport must come with the certificate of conformity of the organization” said the statement issued by the Taya Foundation.
The statement issued by the Ministry of Defense also said that after the first of September of this year, those who do not bring the Certificate of conformity to the Ministry of Defense will be punished and fined.
