The President of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, said that the fight against corruption in his government is not limited to the lower level employees of government agencies.
President Hassan Sheikh said that they will soon see big personalities in front of the court, which he said is part of the commitment of his government.
“The work is going on and every day more money is being sent to them and places where they are missing. The court is standing now, but it does not end there. You will see big people standing in court,” said the president of Somalia.
The president said he has no respect for the person who steals the nation’s livestock. He said that there are many people who have stolen government property and built large buildings in Turkey and Kenya.
The president warned that a clan system should be used to protect those accused of corruption who are currently on trial. He said that those people are suspected of corruption.
