The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hamse Abdi Barre, today appointed the Director General and Deputy Director of the Tubsan National Center for the prevention and combating of the extremist ideas of Rabahadaha Wata.
Prime Minister Hamse appointed Abdullahi Mohamed Noor as the general director of the national center in Tubsan, and Ibrahim Aden Ibrahim was appointed as the deputy director.
“When the Prime Minister considered the need to speed up the prevention of the fundamental causes that generate or encourage violent extremist ideology, he appointed. 1. Mr. Abdullahi Mohamed Noor – Director General of the National Center of Tubsan
2. Mr. Ibrahim Adan Ibrahim – Deputy Director of the Tubsan National Center” said in a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office.
The new director of the national center in Tubsan, Abdullahi Mohamed Noor, has already become the minister of internal security in Somalia under the government of Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble.
However, it is worth noting that President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud at the beginning of this year appointed Abdullahi Mohamed Noor to be the President’s Senior Adviser on Preventing and Combating Extremist Ideas.
